Things seem to have quieted down very perceptibly during the last few days for Amy as she has now turned her attention to filming "Julie and Julia". I am therefore taking this opportunity to post two very good video interviews that you may or may not have seen already. They were both recorded in November 2007. Amy appeared on ABC News to promote "Enchanted" and spent some time (almost half-an-hour!) discussing her latest film, her choices and her aspirations with David Poland. The second video - a candid discussion - is probably the best interview I've ever seen. Definitely a must-watch for Amy's fans!

thanks so much stephany!!
i love this blog so much!!
Oh that was annoying, did the video keep stopping for anyone else? :( I couldn't watch it as one continuous video-it kept stopping every 2 seconds or so to buffer.
But that was a great great video all the same. :D
Thanks for posting!!

Oh oops-I meant to say it's the second video-the lunch with-video that stops! :D
pretty funny when the guy says something about the "35's", like he was thinking she was 26, 27 or something and she says "it's closer than what you think". Let's apologize him, nobody can tell Amy's age only looking at her.
the "lunch with david" interview was just wonderful. it's too bad most interviews are of the 2 or 3 minute variety, the longer ones are so much more interesting and revealing! thanks so much for posting.
Thank you for posting this :)
The second interview is kind of awkward (like always)... but it's good.
Love the lunch with David interview
I would rate this her best interview, second only to the one in which she switches off interviewing and being interviewed by patrick dempsey - because the viewer can really get a sense of what she's like and the depth of her knowledge of acting and the roles she has as a professional actress; great interviewer in Mr. Poland, as well, of course, who presents the subject well and gives the subject time to "engage" as AA says.
