Amy to perform in "sensational gown" at the Oscars

Producer Gil Cates spilled the beans on Sunday's Oscar telecast. He says it's more difficult to present the entertainment part when most of the songs are from one single movie - which is the case this year, with three Enchanted songs nominated.

"The trick is to make each look different and feel different," he says. So, star Amy Adams will perform the Cinderella-esque Happy Working Song as a "straight presentation, and she'll be in a sensational gown."

Rock crooner Jon McLaughlin, singing love song So Close, gets a slow-dance accompaniment. And Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth (Wicked) will tackle That's How You Know. Cates says: "She'll be surrounded by a lot of dancers. It'll be a big number."

With Amy's impeccable style and fashion sense, there's no doubt she's going to shine and be very "princessy" at the Oscars ceremony!

I can't imagine Happy Working Song being performed without the dancing and the animals... I hope it works.

I agree - I wonder how they're going to put that number on stage.
