Oscar day for Amy and "Enchanted"

With just a few hours to go before the 80th Academy Awards ceremony, here's a list of things you should expect from the evening (Amy-related, of course!).

- Amy should spend the day at the Kodak Theatre for a last rehearsal session - especially for the singing part.

- Most of the "big" stars usually walk the red carpet around 5pm/PT. It should be Amy's case - with a stunning gown! However, arrivals actually start way sooner than that.

- The ceremony kicks off at 5:30pm/PT.

- The Oscar Amy is going to present is still unknown but, as a "newcomer" in the presenting session, it would appear logical if she hands out a technical Academy Award.

- Patrick Dempsey is expected to open the Enchanted music slot, introducing one song.

- After going backstage and getting dressed with her "sensational gown", Amy will perform live the "Happy Working Song".

- She will then get changed and enjoy the rest of the show like everyone else.

- The song "Falling Flowly" from Irish movie Once is said to be favourite to win the "Best song" Academy Award.

- If Enchanted wins, Amy will not go and pick up the award - Alan Menkell and Stephen Schwartz will. However, she will most probably get a mention in their acceptance speech.

- Either way, Amy and the rest of the Enchanted cast & crew are going to attend the Oscar after-party and make the most of it.

We'll post comments - and hopefully pictures - throughout the evening so keep an eye on this blog!

Enjoy the show and best of luck to Amy and Enchanted.
