UK/US release dates for Amy's upcoming movies

Just a quick post to inform you that I'm still around lurking on the net to find you all the latest on Amy Adams but so far, no luck. It sounds like we won't get much until at least mid-September, that is when Amy wraps up filming 'Night at the Museum 2' in Vancouver.

As a reminder, here's a brief list of release dates for Amy's upcoming movies in the UK/US:

Smithsonian lends name to "Night of the Museum" sequel

For the first time, the Smithsonian is allowing Hollywood to use its name on the big screen for "Night at the Museum 2". Filming began Sunday at the National Air and Space Museum and there's a short news report video filmed on location available on the NBC website. No signs of Amy Adams though!

Meanwhile, "Julie & Julia" is still filming and the cast & crew are expected to go to France soon to film a few scenes. In normal circumstances I would be very happy since I live in Paris but I'm currently in England for the next month or so. Bummer. The book itself is finally available in France by the way. You can purchase it on Amazon.fr where they are advertising it as a Bridget Jones in cooking with "Sex, blog & boeuf bourguignon".

Amy Adams remembers her first kiss

There's a short bit about Amy Adams in the latest issue of People Magazine. She talks about her first kiss: ""I was in fourth grade, and a group of us decided we were going to get together after school and kiss. We were squirting lemon juice in our mouths to prepare. It was very weird.", she says.

Today, "Julie and Julia" is filming near E 96th St (between Park and Lexington) in NYC.

Today, "Julie and Julia" is filming near W 13th St between 7th and Greenwich Ave and also filming near the Soho Playhouse.

In related news, Amy Adams is featured in People magazine's newest issue, available tomorrow on the newsstands. She's listed as one of the most beautiful celebrities (in the "redheads" category).

According to The Observer, "Miss Pettigrew lives for a day" will be released in UK theaters in August 2008.

Amy Adams is pictured below trying to hide away from the paparazzi behind the production crew of her movie currently on location as they walk to the set in Soho inside Dean and DeLuca. The crew is also dutifully taking care of her dogs on the set.

I've just returned from a lovely weekend in Wales (thanks for the best wishes everyone!). I finally realize that Amy Adams really is everywhere - I was relaxing in my hotel room after a visit to Conwy Castle, turned on the TV and guess what!? There she was on Welsh Television in "The Wedding Date". There's no way I can leave without being reminded how popular she is now! Anyways - Amy is pictured below in Long Island City filming a scene for "Julie & Julia" on April 17th.

Bumping into Amy Adams on the set of "Julie & Julia"

A bobbed and brunette Amy Adams combed the stacks Thursday at the Strand bookstore in New York City, where she continues to shoot her new film "Julie & Julia". Gerard was on the set and tells us a funny story about it.

"So last night I'm on Greene st. in NY. They are filming Julie and Julia. I used to work right in front where they are filming. I go to my old job I turn around and some real pretty girl is looking at me like what am I doing standing here.

I look at her and say "Hey do you know who Amy Adams is?" This unknown lady says, "She is the big celeb who is staring in this movie". I say "Yea but which one is she?". She smiles and says "No clue".

About 2 seconds later she starts to laugh and says "I'm her, how can you not know! Haha". We joke around for a bit then I wish her luck and she continues to film :)"
